While the Gaza/Israel conflict has dominated the news an estimated population of around 120,000 Armenian Christians have been expelled from their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh. In an act described as Cultural Genocide, one of the oldest Christian communities in the world has been destroyed.

It has been estimated that in the birthplace of Christianity, Christians now make up approximately 5% of the Middle Eastern population, down from 20% in the early 20th century.

Meanwhile Islam continues to expand. Cultural jihad has resulted in thousands of Muslims importing their ideology into the Western world. The consequences of multi-culturalism rather than assimilation  can be observed most spectacularly in France where Islam is now "the most practiced 'religion'."

Demonstrations in support of Hamas, a designated terrorist organisation by many Western Countries, have been witnessed in many major cities including Paris, Vienna, New York and in London where, at Speaker's Corner, Islamic ideology is made clear for all to hear while adherents do as they please. 

Civic and religious leaders in the West must take their share of  responsibility for this situation. For decades they have accepted assurances that Islam is a religion of peace without question.

Caught in the middle are the innocent. Among them those massacred by Hamas in Israel and the multi-faith civilians trapped in Gaza. 

God help them.

Defender of the Faith!

Dechrau Canu, Dechrau Canmol (Welsh for 'Start Singing, Start Praising') is a television series featuring congregational Christian singing in the Welsh language. The programmes "celebrate important festivals and dates in the Christian calendar" and place on film the celebration of important national and international occasions where the music is of a devotional and religious nature.

The edition on Sunday 16 April celebrated Ramadan. An odd combination given that in Islam "the content of the song should not be against the morals and teachings of Islam."

There was a rendition of Let there be peace on earth, perhaps a nod to the so-called religion of peace which occurs when all become Muslims through submission. "The fundamental problem is that the majority of otherwise peaceful and law-abiding Muslims are unwilling to acknowledge, much less to repudiate, the theological warrant for intolerance and violence embedded in their own religious texts."

Filmed at Atlantic College in South Wales, students were encouraged to fast so that they could take part in the Muslim Eid al-Fitr celebration (the feast of fast-breaking). A student organiser said: "It's important because it unites us as a school community and as a Muslim community." Over half the students took part when Muslim prayers are offered. 

A Muslim chaplain emphasised "one thing that will be very important in the future is to have a full Welsh translation of the Quran. Some smaller chapters have been translated but a Welsh Quran would show that Islam is also a Welsh religion"!

Cultural jihad has the gullible falling over themselves to welcome other faiths while Christianity is under attack.

Just over a week ago the Chapter of Manchester Cathedral had to apologise for allowing the Muslim call to prayer to be made in the cathedral at an interfaith event. This was not an isolated incident among those who should know better. 

In the Holy Land Church leaders have spoken out about an increase in anti-Christian incidents including attacks on holy sites, schools and even funeral processions.

Persecution.Org reports: "44 People Killed in Jihadist Attack in Burkina Faso", adding to the growing number of Islamist terrorist attacks. See list of Islamist terrorist attacks.

The last thing Christians need is for the Sovereign and supreme governor of the Church of England to lapse like its bishops and turn his Christian coronation service into another multi-faith event which benefits other faiths to the detriment of our own.

"Any act of worship that follows the Islamic rules of prayer can be said to create a mosque, whether or not it takes place in a special building." (Wikipedia)

The threat in Great Britain is not the same as in France where 'one mosque is erected every 15 days while one Christian building is destroyed at the same pace' but the softly, softly approach to affirm and to avoid offending Muslim sensitivities is similar.

This side of the channel while churches and chapels are closing mosques continue to expand. Islam is given a favourable press by promoting the notion that it is a religion of peace while ignoring the threat of the Sword. 

Cardiff Castle may now be regarded as a mosque under Islamic rules, the culmination of promoting Islam by the BBC and others during Ramadan.

On 2 May the BBC marked "one of the most important festivals of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan". 

Its S4C programme Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol (which translates into English as Start singing, start praising) presented a mixture of Christian hymn singing while promoting Islam as a way of 'getting closer to God'.

Muslims do not sing hymns yet Amazing Grace was sung by a choir as if to suggest the redemptive love of God is somehow comparable with submission to Allah.

Promoted as the religion of peace through cultural jihad, no connection is made with violent Jihad which results in the atrocities regularly reported around the globe.

Addressing the Combined Threat of Violent Jihad and Cultural Jihad the authors found that "cultural jihad may be an equally long-term threat to the West" as violent jihad.

A learning support co-ordinator at Swansea's Gower College said "We make a big fuss [at the college] about Christmas and Easter, but we need to reflect the other faiths and communities."

A wider perspective is needed. Whether by violent jihad or cultural jihad the desired outcome is the same: Rights of Non-Muslims in an Islamic State.

Another tent, this time at the Welsh National Eisteddfod, where there has been 'great discussion' on how Wales is modelling interfaith relations.

The Church in Wales is obsessed with interfaith relations, almost as much as it is obsessed with same-sex relations. The Archbishop of Wales, John Davies, has been awarded an honorary doctorate in recognition of his services to the Church in Wales and of his 'leadership across faith communities' - that is, excluding orthodox Anglicans in their own ranks who continue to be ignored as if they no longer existed.

Islam denies that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for the sins of mankind. The sort of faith that the Church in Wales is moving towards, ignoring biblical teaching as it promotes same sex relations giving the impression that such relationships are to  be welcomed as a blessing, a favoured minority to be honoured while orthodox Anglicans are treated with contempt. 

Same sex relations should put the Church at odds with their Muslim brothers and sisters, not that the opinions of women count for much in Islam unlike the Church in Wales in which they are becoming dominant. The emphasis is on good relations regardless of theological differences. Getting along.

How jolly to be getting along in Wales while Christians and others abroad are being massacred for their faith. Just last week it was reported that at least 65 people lost their lives after suspected Boko Haram militants opened fire on a funeral in Nigeria's north-eastern state of Borno.

Did anyone in the tent even notice let alone condemn the atrocity. 

There is much more. 

From a recent Barnabas Fund report:

"An unprecedented humanitarian emergency is looming in the Sahel region of Africa following a surge in armed violence, warned UN aid agencies and NGOs in a report on 27 June. Around one million people fled their homes in the past year, bringing the total number of people displaced across the Sahel to 4.2 million, the report said. Displacement has increased five-fold in Burkina Faso and Niger, which have also recently seen a sharp rise in Islamist attacks against Christians."

Perhaps the scale of such reports is too daunting to comprehend and they happen far away.

They could, instead, have considered a single but not isolated incident. A ten-year-old Christian Pakistani boy who was working at a factory to care for his mother and two brothers. He was raped and tortured by his Muslim employers before he finally died on 10 July, 2019. His sin? He asked to be paid for the work he had done.

Many atrocities go unreported in the media but they can easily be found by Googling. Some links are provided in the right hand column of this blog.

I have not read of any condemnation of the highlighted atrocities from the world leaders who rushed  to support New Zealand’s Prime Minister when she condemned the reported Christchurch mosque shootings.

That is not to endorse the killing of Muslims but to deplore the double standards that allow the murder of Christians to go unreported while getting along with Muslims who, when they are the majority, expect all to conform under Sharia: convert, pay the jizya or die.

Getting along in Wales does nothing for the oppressed abroad while strengthening the hand in this country of a religious ideology that seeks to dominate others using deceit and jihad to advance their supremacist ideology.

Muslim Jesus common ground: What common ground?

 There was outrage among many Catholics and others when Pope John Paul II was photographed kissing the gift of a copy of the Quran, explained here. That was nothing compared with the anger, violence and protests by Muslim scholars and religious leaders who criticised Pope Benedict XVI, claiming that the Pope had criticised Islam and its concept of jihad when he quoted a 14th-century Christian Emperor who had said that the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world "evil and inhuman" things. Pope Benedict was condemned for referring to this period in history and  urged to play a positive role in bringing Islam and Christianity closer. It was as if 1400 years of jihad were a fiction when its consequences are plain to see.

Pakistan's parliament passed a resolution demanding that the Pope retract his remarks "in the interest of harmony between religions" while the "hostile" remarks drew a demand for an apology from a "top religious official" in Turkey where the Basilica of Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD, was converted into a mosque in 1453. It was secularised in 1931 before becoming a museum in 1935. Following President Erdogan's promotion of Islam giving it a more prominent role in Turkey there are growing calls to convert the museum back into a practicing mosque.

Meanwhile remnants of ancient civilisations are being destroyed to eradicate any suggestion that Islam has been spread by conquest. Churches are regularly destroyed in Islamic countries and Christians oppressed in what were Christian countries. Simply consider the plight of the Copts in Egypt as an example of the persecution experienced by Christians in what was a Christian country in ancient times.

Often referred to derisively as the "National Catholic Distorter", the National Catholic Reporter (NCR) may not find its way to many coffee tables which is probably just as well given this headline: "The Muslim Jesus provides common ground for Christianity, Islam".

The only common ground between Christianity and Islam are the bits lifted from the Bible to support spurious Islamic claims. They may recognise Abraham, Moses, the Virgin Mary and Jesus, regarded as a minor prophet, but they deny the centrality of the Christian faith, that Jesus is the Son of God, He died on the Cross, rose again and ascended into heaven.

In an interesting juxtaposition, the video 'Jihad Exposed in America' appeared on the Facing Islam Blog. In just a few minutes Robert Spencer completely demolishes the spurious claims made in the National Catholic Reporter and goes on to explain the Dhimmi, the subjugation of non-Muslims after conquest. [Advance to position 13.40 if you cannot spare the time to watch the whole interview.]

The NCR report concludes with: "The importance of finding common ground has become particularly apparent after the events in Charlottesville this month, which laid bare real and deep divisions in our country. Reconciling Christianity and Islam based on a true understanding of each other's religions could serve as a bulwark against these divisions and provide a worldwide example to emulate."

Deception does not provide common ground any more than the absurd statement that Islamophobia is defined as "unfounded hostility towards Muslims and therefore fear or dislike of all or most Muslims". That is simply a 'PC' device to deflect any questioning of Muslim behaviour, a device which has resulted in hundreds of young girls being sexually abused by mainly Muslim men in Great Britain.

Most people will be familiar with the claim that 'Islam is a religion of peace'. Prime Minister Blair along with US Presidents Bush and Clinton said so. Experts begged to differ but the same claims are made today every time a violent Muslim follows their Prophets example as demanded in the Quran.

The latest ISIS propaganda film threatens Pope Francis. Fighters are seen "stamping on a bust of Jesus, defacing pictures of the pontiff and vowing to come to Rome". Sadly such threats and "terrorist" actions (the media have already been cowed into describing Muslim aggressors as terrorists) have become so commonplace that people simply shrug their shoulders saying that they are not afraid and will not be deterred instead of investigating the real cause of the problem. Those who do are criticised as being Islamophobic.

Outright Islamic invasion has been replaced by immigration and cultural jihad in the West. This is the reality but political correctness and charges of Islamophobia keep the truth hidden while Muslims are allowed to build mosques, practice Sharia and encourage conversion while denying Muslims the truth about the saving nature of Christianity as opposed to submission which is Islam.

It has been estimated that 80% of Muslims have not heard the Gospel message. Despite Christ's command to evangelize, 67% of all humans from AD 30 to the present day have never even heard the name of Jesus Christ and 91% of all Christian outreach/evangelism does not target non-Christians, but targets other Christians.

That anyone can suggest that Jesus links Islam to Christianity illustrates either a complete ignorance of Islam or a desire to mislead and subjugate more people into Dhimmitude by deception.

As I close this entry I have noticed this report in Christian Today:

 A five-year-old girl from a Christian family was left 'very distressed' after she was fostered to two Muslim families, encouraged to learn Arabic and had her Christian cross taken away.

After the two placements by Tower Hamlets council in east London, the girl returned home where she told her birth mother that Christmas and Easter are 'stupid' and European women are alcoholics, according to a report in The Times. And she refused to eat what had been her favourite meal spaghetti carbonara, because it contained bacon.

According to The Times, the child sobbed and begged not to have to go back to her foster home, where her present carer wears a burqa, covering her face entirely, outside the home. She told her social worker: 'They don't speak English.' Her own family had opposed the placements. Full report here.

The kafir

There have been widely differing reactions to the recent BBC2 two-part documentary Muslims Like Us from "genuinely excellent" to "a wake-up call for Islamophobes everywhere". As the BBC put it, the BBC documentary gets "mixed reviews". For me the program was irritating. It should be a wake-up call, not for 'Islamophobes' but for a reality that was presented only to be written off as extremism

This is how a Telegraph reporter put it:
...what made Muslims Like Us so compelling was that Haqq [the so-called 'extremist'] was an oddball sideshow. What this programme did was shed light on a section of society systematically vilified for the actions of its Haqq-like loony fringe. Far more interesting were the doubts and dilemmas that faced the other housemates.

This is a typical misconception which is explained in this US video:

For readers who did not see the documentary the most relevant part can be seen starting at about 27.00 mins in on the BBC iPlayer. Haqq, the so-called 'extremist', says it as it is according to the book. He was aghast on learning that a housemate with whom he was in conversation was a Shia.

Pushed into saying what the problem was he defined his fellow housemate as a "five star, Grade A, 'Kuffar'." His response explains many of the problems witnessed on the world stage with Muslims attacking other Muslims when they are not attacking other religions.

They justify their jihad by portraying Christians as aggressors. Islamists claim that they are fighting to regain lands which they say are legitimately theirs. In the process they are wiping out Christianity in the Middle East and obliterating remnants of ancient civilizations, anything that fails to support their spurious claims.

The Crusades are used as examples of aggression despite the fact that they were fought to liberate Holy sites from the aggressors. This second video graphically illustrates the true extent of Jihad versus the Crusades:

There was a turning point in 1683 when "the Ottoman Turks ceased to be a menace to the Christian world". What was not accomplished by military means then is now being accomplished by masquerading as the 'Religion of Peace' despite all the evidence to the contrary. Any perceived criticism or questioning of Islam is immediately attacked as Islamophobic. The headline in the Mail Online is a good example: 'My religion isn't something for you to watch for banter': Controversial BBC documentary Muslims Like Us is slammed by viewers on Twitter for reducing Islam to a 'reality show'.

According to the Mail Online report the Muslim Council of Britain praised the show, saying that 'it goes some way to dispel the myth that Muslims are any different to everyday people'. True, the group was diverse but that should not be used to conceal the fact that the so-called extremist Haqq follows the book. As such, in Islam he is the good Muslim.

The West's laissez-faire attitude has resulted in the uncontrolled spread of Islam. In the UK the number of Muslims has doubled in just over a decade as a result of soaring immigration and high birth rates. It is not surprising then that the most common baby boys' name in England and Wales today is Muhammad or one of its variants.

Muslims are being welcomed in the West. Polygamy added to high birth rates is expanding their numbers. In some parts of London almost half the population is now Islamic. If current trends continue the areas could become majority Muslim areas within ten years. Meanwhile there have been recent reports of Christians being killed and Christian churches attacked in Egypt (here and here). Islamic persecution continues around the globe.

In terms of their mixed views, the housemates may appear 'no different to everyday people' but as a survey here indicates, most Muslims in the UK have radically different attitudes to the rest of us:

 Many British Muslims do not share the values of their non-Muslim compatriots and say they want to lead separate lives under Islamic Sharia law. 

More than 100,000 British Muslims sympathize with suicide bombers and people who commit other terrorist acts. Moreover, only one in three British Muslims (34%) would contact the police if they believed that somebody close to them had become involved with jihadists.

To Haqq and the 'Religion of Peace' we are simply the kafir.

Wales, Wales and beyond

An interesting article from Wales Online today for Welsh History Month, Gerald of Wales championed what he believed were the ancient rights of his church: "In the closing days of November 1199, the archdeacon of Brecon, Gerald de Barry – better known today as Gerald of Wales – arrived in Rome after a long and arduous journey from Wales. He had not come as a pilgrim to pray at the shrines of the saints, but as bishop-elect of St Davids to champion what he believed were the ancient rights of his church". One wonders what Gerald de Barry would make of the Church in Wales under Archbishop Barry and, indeed, modern bishops in general and of the problems facing the Church today.

Also of interest is a letter to the Editor of the Western Mail headed "Immigration crisis in Europe". This is a very emotional subject as viewers of last Thursday's Question Time will testify. It is a natural Christian instinct to take pity on the plight of others, especially the less fortunate. As commented on the Question Time programme, "we are all human beings" but many of the worst affected do not have the resources to flee to Europe. Those who do so appear well dressed with smart phones and a determination not just to get out of war zones but to decide which Christian country (for now) should be their ultimate destination. Beware the Trojan Horse?

Vienna 1653 saw a mighty last ditch battle against the Muslim Ottoman Empire in defence of Christianity but in Vienna 2015 Muslims are welcomed with open arms despite the butchery of Christians that continues in Muslim countries. Armed jihad or cultural jihad, the object is the same, Islamisation of the world by whatever means according to their holy book. Church of England bishops who failed to see the consequences of their actions in mimicking the liberal policies of the Episcopal Church of the United States have joined the emotional clamor to allow more migrants into Great Britain on a suck it and see basis. Meanwhile, David Cameron is accused of "McCarthyism" over extremism plans by UK's biggest Muslim group, the Muslim Council of Britain.

Bishop Cottrell assured the Prime Minister that the church has "troops on the ground" ready to help. Just the Church?

Radicalisation - Cameron's Conference Speech October 2015

The following extract from David Cameron's speech to the Conservative Party conference as reported in the Mirror (here) touches on National security, extremism, radicalisation, terrorism, oppression and integration. Fine words but spoken from a Western, Judeo-Christian perspective with no apparent understanding of the threat posed by Islam.

"My first duty as Prime Minister is to keep people safe. Some of the loneliest moments in this job are when you are reading intelligence reports about plots being planned against the British people.

This summer I was told that Reyaad Khan and Junaid Hussain were in Syria planning terrorist attacks on UK soil. Of course, I asked all the proper questions. How do we stop them? Is there another way? Do we have that capability? Is it legal?

I knew that whatever action I took would provoke a big debate. But my job as Prime Minister is quite simple, really: ultimately, it’s not to debate; it’s to decide. And the choice I faced was this: Act – and we could stop them carrying out their plans. Stall – and we could see innocent people murdered on our streets. So I took decisive action to keep Britain safe – and that’s what I will always do...

"We need to confront – and I mean really confront – extremism. When I read what some young people born and brought up in this country are doing, it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Girls not much older than my eldest daughter, swapping loving family homes and straight-A futures for a life of servitude under ISIL, in a land of violence and oppression.

Boys who could do anything they wanted in Britain – who have benefitted from all this country stands for – instead ending up in the desert wielding a knife. This ideology, this diseased view of the world, has become an epidemic – infecting minds from the mosques of Mogadishu to the bedrooms of Birmingham. And here’s what we need to do.

One: tear up the narrative that says Muslims are persecuted and the West deserves what it gets. 
Never mind that it’s Britain and America behind the biggest effort to help the victims of Syria. 
Who is ISIL murdering more than anyone else? Muslims. No-one should get away with this politics of grievance anymore.

Two: take on extremism in all its forms, the violent and non-violent. People don’t become terrorists from a standing start. It begins with preachers telling them that Christians and Muslims can’t live together. It moves to people in their community saying the security services were responsible for 7/7. It progresses to a website telling them how to wage jihad, fight in Syria, and defeat the West. And before you know it, a young British boy, barely 17, is strapping bombs to his body and blowing himself up in Iraq. We have to stop it at the start – stop this seed of hatred even being planted in people’s minds, let alone allowing it to grow.

Three: we need to tackle segregation. There are parts of Britain today where you can get by without ever speaking English or meeting anyone from another culture. Zoom in and you’ll see some institutions that actually help incubate these divisions. Did you know, in our country, there are some children who spend several hours each day at a Madrassa? Let me be clear: there is nothing wrong with children learning about their faith, whether it’s at Madrassas, Sunday Schools or Jewish Yeshivas. But in some Madrassas we’ve got children being taught that they shouldn’t mix with people of other religions; being beaten; swallowing conspiracy theories about Jewish people.

These children should be having their minds opened, their horizons broadened not having their heads filled with poison and their hearts filled with hate. So I can announce this today:

If an institution is teaching children intensively, then whatever its religion, we will, like any other school, make it register so it can be inspected. And be in no doubt: if you are teaching intolerance, we will shut you down.

This goes to a wider truth. For too long, we’ve been so frightened of causing offence that we haven’t looked hard enough at what is going on in our communities. This is passive tolerance. And I’ll tell you where it leads: To children, British children, going to Pakistan in the summer holidays, before they’ve even started their GCSEs, and forced to marry a man they’ve never met…children, British children, having their genitals mutilated, not just in a clinic in Lagos but the backstreets in Britain.

This passive tolerance has turned us into a less integrated country; it’s put our children in danger. It is unforgiveable. So let me say it right here: no more passive tolerance in Britain. We’ve passed the laws – now I want them enforced. People who organise forced marriages – I want them prosecuted.

Parents who take their children for FGM – I want them arrested. And as we do that, we shouldn’t just be saying what’s wrong with these practices; we should be saying what’s right with Britain.

Freedom. Democracy. Equality. These are precious. People fought for them – many died for them…
…in the trenches, a century ago; on the beaches, 30 years later…in the Suffragettes; in Gay Pride.

Half the world is crying out for these freedoms – they see what we’ve achieved with them. Free speech – and the best literature in the world. Freedom of religion – and many faiths living side by side, peacefully."

If Mr Cameron genuinely wants to "confront extremism" he needs to develop a strategy which recognises Islam as the supremacist ideology it is, believing that everyone and everything belongs to Allah who demands to be worshiped and rewards believers for their good works which includes killing non-believers. If not willfully blind, talking with 'friendly'  Muslims and their sympathizers is pointless. They will explain that Islam is a religion of peace despite all the evidence to the contrary.

From WikiIslam: "According to Islamic laws, non-Muslims in Islamic lands should be subdued and be treated as dhimmis (second class citizens). They should be coerced and intimidated to convert to Islam, through special humiliating taxes like Jizyah imposed on them. Following Prophet Muhammad's example, this has been taking place throughout Islam's history. While Muslims demand for concessions in non-Muslim countries, non-Muslims are systematically persecuted, terrorized and ethnically cleansed from Islamic lands".

Islam is spreading through Europe. Immigration on a colossal scale and a much higher birthrate have led to estimates that Muslims to will outnumber Christians worldwide by 2070 while in 10 years Islam could be the dominant religion in the United Kingdom.

Mr Cameron expressed surprise at girls not much older than his eldest daughter "swapping loving family homes and straight-A futures for a life of servitude under ISIL, in a land of violence and oppression". - It's the ideology, stupid! - "The root of the problem lies in a radical ideology that drives individuals to join the jihadists...The minds of Islamic State group militants and those who are recruited have a deep and twisted ideology where absolute power in the name of Allah and the elimination of infidels are their main drivers". Grasp this and we can make some progress.

The road to hell...

... is not always paved with good intentions.

A recurring theme among some employees was the pressure they felt they were under to keep their religion hidden at work and feeling discriminated against when it came to wearing religious symbols or expressing their beliefs.  This was particularly felt by Christians. - Creating a fairer Britain

Misplaced secularism dressed up as religion in some quarters and political correctness have resulted in Jews and Christians being afraid to express their faith in their own country today while Muslims, many of them immigrants who came to our shores to enjoy the benefits of a free society, not only parade their faith on our streets with impunity but aim to use democracy against us to advance the cause of Islam. If that were not bad enough they have been aided by the Anglican Church. 

Despite all the advantages they demand for their own religion Muslims continue to complain about the way they are treated, treated being the operative word: "Yesterday, more than 60 imams and leaders of Muslim groups signed an open letter to the Government accusing it of criminalising Islam". Why? Because one of the Queen’s chaplains,the Reverend Canon Gavin Ashenden expressed concern that around 100 passages in the Muslim holy book incite followers to violence, including 'striking off heads'.

How can they complain? Because they can. They regard it as a religious duty to do so, diverting any criticism away from Islam. In their open letter to the government, the imams and Muslim group leaders claimed that the ‘terror threat’ was being exploited for political capital ahead of the election as ‘the big parties inevitably try to outdo each other in their nastiness’. They have criticised the ‘demonisation of Muslims in Britain ... despite their disavowal of violence and never having supported terrorist acts’.

By inference they must accept that what Canon Ashdenden said is true but they do not approve of him expressing his concern that Islam gives rise to violent jihad, presumably on the grounds that cultural jihad is peaceful by comparison as they attempt to convert Britain and every other free nation to Islam under the rule of Sharia.   

Despite all the evidence to the contrary, denial is constant: Imam says Islam not to blame for “deplorable acts” of sex grooming gangs. It was “not credible to blame a whole community”. He added: “Some groups are exploiting the cases of sexual grooming and are linking the depraved actions of the perpetrators to Islam. The 'whole community' is not being blamed, neither are Muslims in general but it is undeniable that the common factor in the violence abroad and the wretched child abuse dominating the media at home is Islam.

It should be obvious even to the casual observer that Islam is at war worldwide, as it has been since its formation, overtly with armed jihad in Iraq, Syria and Africa and covertly with the more sinister cultural jihad in the West. Muslims constantly defend Islam insisting that right is on their side because their prophet said so. That is merely a justification of his own position on his own terms without critical assessment, something that is banned in Islam. By comparison the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the witnessed, fulfillment of Biblical prophecies. There cannot be another prophet other than a false prophet.

Replying to Thomas (the doubter) when Christ was asked, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

The Bible could not be clearer. Jesus fulfills the many biblical prophecies with the warning: "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. You will know them by their fruits". Two short, sound, simple proofs that Muhammad was a false prophet from Deuteronomy deductions illustrate the point.

Eternal life is offered unconditionally without the suffering demanded in the Koran which is based on fear and retribution based on the claims of a single person who claimed to hear the word of God. Today that would be regarded as delusion.

So why, on 6 March, was a service of Muslim prayers held in St John’s Waterloo, an Anglican church, a short walk from the South Bank opposite the Houses of Parliament? Probably the best answer is that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, something that the Bishop of Southwark has responded to in the following terms: “The Bishop of Southwark takes very seriously his responsibility to uphold the teaching of the Church and to work within its framework of legislation and guidance. It is quite clear that Islamic prayer should not take place in a consecrated building.  This is why he has asked the Bishop of Kingston to investigate fully what happened. It is inappropriate to seek to make further public comments on this matter until this has happened.”

As Fr Alexander Lucie-Smith, a Catholic priest and doctor of moral theology wrote: "Once a place has been used for Muslim worship it is ipso facto a mosque". Quite so. Re-consecration is in order.

Andrew Symes wrote on Anglican Mainstream: "The purpose of the event was presumably to symbolically bring the Church and Islam together by uniting Christians and Muslims in prayer. It was also to show how a modernised Islam can successfully incorporate some key Western values – the group of worshippers consisted of men and women standing, kneeling and prostrating together; the prayers were led by men and women, and the sermon was delivered by a female Imam, hence 'Inclusive Mosque'." 

So there we have it. The inclusive church, the inclusive mosque, Gathering; call it what you will. Note that the Gathering's "Ecumenical Communion" service begins with a passage of scripture which has been used  to justify just about every liberal departure from the historic Christian faith, in particular the ordination of women: "In Christ Jesus we are all children of God through faith. There is no longer Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female.

That will music to the ears of the Vicar of St John's Waterloo who said: St John's recently hosted an "Inclusive Jummah" in partnership with the Inclusive Mosque Initiative. Led by Dr Amina Wadud, it was timed for the run up to International Women's Day last weekend. Dr Wadud is a long-time campaigner for gender justice in Islam. - St John's also offers thanksgivings and dedications to couples after civil marriages, including same-sex marriages, although so far no one has requested such a service! - In turn music to Dr Morgan's ears.

The same recipe that has put secularism before faith, marginalising devout Christians in the process. Not only the Bishop of Southwark but the whole liberal ascendancy should be beating their chests for what they have done and asking God, not Allah for forgiveness while explaining the truth to Muslims so that they too may be saved.

This is urgent because, sadly, despite all the obvious violet extremism, FGM (not based on the Koran but recommended!), shared husbands, honour killings and even burial alive in the name of honour, 'around 5,000 British people convert to Islam every year – and most of them are women'. Many of these will have been disillusioned by the liberal 'advances' pressed by people who profess to call themselves Christian but in reality have sought personal advancement to the detriment of others.

We owe it not only to converts but to all Muslims to set the record straight if they are to avoid descent into hell.

“OF COURSE they say nice things these days,” says a Lebanese woman, a sophisticated Sunni Muslim in her 50s, gliding between English, French and Arabic. “They know who they're talking to. But you cannot trust them—absolutely not.” Again and again, in secular and liberal circles in Beirut, Cairo, Rabat, Tunis and even Ramallah, the seat of the Palestinian Authority, you hear almost identical dark warnings against the Islamist movements that are gaining ground across the Arab world as dictators are toppled, tackled or forced into concessions. ...
The doubts persist. “It is an 80-year project,” says a grandee of the liberal Wafd party, referring to the Brotherhood's origins. “In the long run they want an Islamic state, a caliphate.”

If things looked bleak in 2011 they are much worse in 2015 despite the crack down on the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. In June 2014 the leader of so-called Islamic State declared the creation of a caliphate stretching across parts of Syria and Iraq. Had the last Muslim onslaught not been stopped outside the gates of Vienna in 1683, how many Western democracies would there be today? Looking at the fate of minorities in Egypt and other states where Islam dominates, Christianity would have suffered a worse fate than that inflicted by the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church or, closer to home, by her devoted disciple the Archbishop of Wales. But I digress.

Of late I have been encouraged by two pieces of news. In the Telegraph: "Extremism in Britain: Now the crackdown is launched" - The Government is planning a series of tough new measures to combat the growing threat from Islamist extremists. A leaked draft of the Home Office’s new counter-extremism strategy, seen by The Telegraph, targets Sharia courts and calls for a ban on radicals working unsupervised with children over fears the young could be brainwashed. The crackdown is said to be part of a new "strategy to deal with the perceived growing threat to the UK from Islamist extremists."

About time too. According to the Telegraph report, the number of jihadists who have now travelled to Syria to fight with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) "has exceeded more than 700. Of those, about 320 “dangerous” jihadists have now returned to the UK after fighting with Isil, reinforcing the urgent need in Whitehall for a new set of anti-extremist measures."

The second news item has been delivered today by the Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond: - "Terror 'apologists' must share blame: 'Apologists' for those who commit acts of terrorism are partly responsible for the violence...Security services have been criticised over their handling of Mohammed Emwazi - known as "Jihadi John". But in a speech the foreign secretary praised the "brilliance" of Britain's intelligence officers. He has said ministers must act "decisively" in debates about powers given to the security services so they can "get on" with keeping the UK safe." That's the spirit!

There was an outpouring of sympathy in some quarters for one of the most notorious, bloodthirsty criminals, 'Jihadi John': "Critics say MI5's heavy surveillance drove Emwazi down path to radicalism. Pressure group Cage said Emwazi was ‘gentle’ before being probed by MI5". Balderdash. He was following his religion, although he made an exception when it came to alcohol, something forbidden in Islam and punishable by flogging in the Quran, unlike beheading, crucifixion, amputations and stoning which are believed to be the path to paradise for jihadists! [Warning, gruesome images which some may find distressing - Ed.]

Continuing the blame game "Relatives of three east London school girls who ran away to Syria, say the police failed to make sure they had crucial information that could have helped them stop their daughters from joining Islamic State" (here). I find it extraordinary that fifteen-year-old school girls not only had access to their passports, sufficient finance and other means to travel abroad but watching the proceedings of the Parliamentary Home Affairs Committee was illuminating.

Predictably the Metropolitan Police Commissioner and his Specialist Operations Assistant Commissioner were given a hard time by the Chairman for the Met's failure to stop the girls. Not knowing of the girls' intentions (why would they when tracking around 300 known serious risks), they had assumed that, as is common in most schools, letters given to children for their parents would have been properly delivered. With the benefit of hindsight these girls were found to be less than trustworthy. In evidence the Assistant Commissioner revealed that the money used to buy the airline tickets was the proceeds of selling stolen family jewelry.

We are led to believe that Muslim girls are not expected to be as vulnerable as the 'easy meat' exploited by men from allegedly "predominantly Pakistani and/or Muslim heritage backgrounds". - A spurious claim resulting in Asians being "unfairly blamed for this crime, when Islam is the common factor for 90% of the perpetrators, not their country of origin". Muslim girls are often bound in an 'honour' culture which in many ways contradicts the apparent freedom observed as these girls absented themselves from our shores. In that sense they are victims but they are victims of an alien culture which recognizes girls aged 9 as being of marriageable age following their Prophet's example. Another contradiction hit the headlines with: "Dal Babu, a former Met chief superintendent, said the government’s anti-radicalisation strategy is a “toxic brand” run by mainly white officers with little understanding of Islam, gender or race....the lack of Muslim staff in the ranks of the “Prevent” scheme is hampering efforts to stop vulnerable young people, particularly women, from travelling to Syria to join Islamic State. He says police have been caught unawares by young people such as the three Bethnal Green schoolgirls travelling to Syria - and criticised counter terror efforts as “chaotic, piecemeal and unco-ordinated." Added to allegations of ‘spying in the community’ and ‘targeting Muslims’, it was suggested that the anti-terror strategy is seen as "intrusive and secretive by many Muslims".

Surely the obvious place to look for so-called radicalised Muslims is in the Muslim community. This issue was also raised at the meeting of the Home Affairs Committee implying that if  more Muslims were employed things would have been different because 'they understand the culture'. Based on the dissembling evidence to date, that would be blaming everyone but themselves. Given the Islamic instruction to lie for the faith how are we to discern the truth?

Twelve months ago the Independent reported: The number of Muslims in the prison population had more than doubled to nearly 12,000 in a decade according to figures from the Ministry of Justice while Muslims represent only 4.7 per cent of the population in England and Wales, according to the most recent Census. One in seven prisoners (14 per cent) in England and Wales is a Muslim, according to the statistics. The dramatic rise prompted 'calls for ministers to investigate whether police and the courts are treating Muslims more harshly, with some suggesting the rise is due to Islamophobia', another handy tool in the blame game designed to exclude Islam from the criticisms thrown at other faiths.

How is that Muslims regard themselves as the victims despite all the benefits they have come to enjoy in Great Britain while non-Muslims are portrayed as at fault. Muslims are the perpetrators of the crimes against humanity, justifying their actions on a supremacist religious ideology based on the claims of one man which demand that non-Muslims are converted to Islam and that Sharia replaces democracy - or else?

Leaving Islam

This video by an ex-Muslim neatly sums up how people use religion to satisfy their human desires. It considers the basic question of why any Creator would want some of those he created to destroy others he had created. It makes no sense except when the messenger wishes to distort the message for personal gain, sucking in the ignorant and ill-informed to believe that they too can benefit from the suffering of others. How could such a cruel God be worthy of worship?

Christianity is often accused of perpetrating evil acts similar to those now being carried out by warriors for Islam today. There is no denying that, in the past, appalling acts of cruelty were perpetrated in the name of Christ but the errors were of the messenger, not the message. With Islam it is both the messenger and the message and it is not history. It is being inflicted now in the name of one regarded in Islam as the perfect man which raises the question of how much Muslims really know about their messenger.

If Muslims know but deny these facts it raises serious questions about their honesty. If they do not, they are being used unwittingly to support jihad against non-Muslims and need to escape before they too find that they are on the list to be cleansed for being the wrong kind of Muslims.

The 2014 Memri TV clip here shows the 'right kind' of Muslim (in their eyes), a Russian ISIS fighter justifying Islamic State massacres based on texts from the Quran. Some quotes from the transcript:

"With regard to the Islamic State, the Caliphate and the numerous accusations we have been accused of by those who sit idly by instead of going on Jihad, or those who do nothing for the religion of Allah, except for praying the five prayers, believing that by doing so, they are helping the religion of Allah… You are not helping yourselves or the religion of Allah. Anyone who sits idly by and does not help the Islamic State today will be held accountable on Judgment Day.

"You accuse us of the mass killing of Muslims, saying that we are blood-shedding murderers. Didn't the Prophet Muhammad and his companions shed blood? Haven't you read his biography, written by Ibn Hisham, which says that the Messenger of Allah killed 700 people in a single battle? He slaughtered 700 people – that is our Prophet and our religion.

"I say to all our Muslim brothers and sisters: Join the Islamic State. Join your brothers. Do not wait until death comes to you. Do not wait until the path is blocked. As long as you can, perform hijra. The hijra is a duty. If you read any book on Islamic faith, you will see that it is a duty to perform hijra from Dar Al-Kufr to Dar Al-Islam. Do not procrastinate. Do not delude yourselves. Do not say to yourselves that you will perform the hijra tomorrow or the day after."

More recently there has been an obsession in the media with how 'Jihadi John' was radicalized. He didn't need to be radicalized. Based on his knowledge of Islam he simply responded to the  claim "Anyone who sits idly by and does not help the Islamic State today will be held accountable on Judgment Day". He has been following the message of the messenger without any pretence that Islam is the 'Religion of Peace' in the normal accepted sense of the word peace. Despite his heinous crimes attempts have been made to portray Jihadi John as the victim. Similar efforts were made in respect of the deluded youngsters who set off to join the IS group in Syria. Like their founder, among others, this group believes that a girl of nine is of marriageable age! The IS guide to life for female jihadis is here. Any female who wants to embrace such a regime must be severely deluded or must have been indoctrinated by an ideology which rewards the guilty at the expense of the innocent.

Islam has been at war with non-believers since the seventh century, falsely claiming that the West has invaded their lands. They are not Muslim lands. They were obtained by conquest. For years the plight of the Copts was ignored. Now we are witnessing The Twilight of Middle Eastern Christianity. The message is blindingly obvious but there's none so blind as those who will not see - something of which President Obama is persistently accused.

It doesn't have to be like this. Muslims are held captive by fear. Execution for apostasy is still regarded as acceptable in Islamic states. Apart from accepted abrogations, "No change can there be in the Words of Allah (Sura 10:64) "There is none that can alter the Words of Allah (Sura 6:34). So if the religious ideology cannot be adapted to allow Muslims to live peaceably with others in the twenty-first century, its adherents must change if the carnage is to stop.

President Obama's reference to the Crusades and the Inquisition in the same breath as IS atrocities was unfortunate. No doubt he meant well but listening to what he actually said (here), he left himself open to misunderstanding: "People committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ", he said. So they did.
Nobody can excuse that. But the Crusades and the Inquisition are history. The world has moved on but Islam has not.


Islam makes much of the Crusades in their propaganda war to justify their aggression. Apologists fall for it every time with no apparent knowledge of what actually took place. As  Prof. Thomas F. Madden put it in The Real History of the Crusades:

Regarding the modern day reference to the crusades as a supposed grievance by Islamic militants still upset over them..."if the Muslims won the crusades (and they did), why the anger now?  Shouldn't they celebrate the crusades as a great victory? Until the nineteenth century that is precisely what they did. It was the West that taught the Middle East to hate the crusades. During the peak of European colonialism, historians began extolling the medieval crusades as Europe's first colonial venture. By the 20th century, when imperialism was discredited, so too were the crusades. They haven't been the same since." He adds, "The truth is that the crusades had nothing to do with colonialism or unprovoked aggression. They were a desperate and largely unsuccessful attempt to defend against a powerful enemy. The entire history of the crusades is one of Western reaction to Muslim advances." [My emphasis - Ed.]

Muslim jihad continues to this day acting on a 7th C. instruction manual which forbids changes to its instructions and imposes ancient punishments such as stoning, amputation and crucifixion plus the death penalty for apostasy. 'Their' (Muslim) lands are lands held as a result of conquest, a process still going on, most noticeably in the Middle East and in Africa. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the Hagia Sophia in what was Constantinople are obvious examples of mosques replacing Holy sites after Islamic victories. Mosques continue to be built in increasing numbers in the West through cultural jihad while Christian churches are being destroyed in what used to be Christian countries abroad. Do Muslims not understand this or are they merely being devious when they deny the truth of what is mandated in their religion?

Excuses are fruitless. Islam should be held up to the same scrutiny as other religions and ideologies if any progress is to be made in the fight against so-called extremism.

The Religion of Fear

The truth is out!

 From the Spectator: "The West’s movement towards the truth is remarkably slow. We drag ourselves towards it painfully, inch by inch, after each bloody Islamist assault...All these [Western] leaders are wrong. In private, they and their senior advisers often concede that they are telling a lie. The most sympathetic explanation is that they are telling a ‘noble lie’, provoked by a fear that we — the general public — are a lynch mob in waiting. ‘Noble’ or not, this lie is a mistake. First, because the general public do not rely on politicians for their information and can perfectly well read articles and books about Islam for themselves. Secondly, because the lie helps no one understand the threat we face. Thirdly, because it takes any heat off Muslims to deal with the bad traditions in their own religion. And fourthly, because unless mainstream politicians address these matters then one day perhaps the public will overtake their politicians to a truly alarming extent."

The 2010 video above questions why two speakers who are qualified to challenge the basis of Jihad were refused entry to Great Britain after the butchery of an innocent British soldier on a London street. I questioned the Home Secretary at the time and received the same response: "their presence was "not conducive to the public good".

Listen here how a prevaricating London Imam was then let off the hook while one of the speakers who was refused entry, Robert Spencer, was smeared as a defender of the EDL because he accepted an invitation to reveal the truth about Islam based on his detailed knowledge rather than what Muslims tell us to believe.

What Mr Spencer had said was "...it [Islam] is a religion and a belief system that mandates warfare against unbelievers for the purpose for establishing a societal model that is absolutely incompatible with Western society because media and general government unwillingness to face the sources of Islamic terrorism these things remain largely unknown". (Video here). So by explaining what the West needs to know about Islam Robert Spencer "would be behaving in a way that is not conducive to the public good"!

Anyone watching Panorama on Monday should have had a wake-up call. The presenter said "I understand that the Home Office believe that a worryingly high number of British Muslims to not subscribe to core British values like freedom of expression and equality and tolerance of other faiths and that none of the initiatives aimed at improving integration either from this government or the last have had any significant impact. The fear is that this will lead to what ministers describe as non-violent extremism".

The response from a 'moderate' Muslim was: Ten years ago non-violent extremism was very much a fringe element. What we have now is [the] majority of Muslims are not extreme but that fringe movement, that body is a lot bigger. Not only that, it has allowed a voice. And from another 'moderate': "I see the actions of these extremists are creating Islamophobia in this country so I feel very passionate that the children I raise are not being drawn into an intolerant dehumanizing interpretation of Islam which currently is starting to become more and more mainstream". 

This is in line with two separate official Inquiries which found that there had been an attempt to inculcate a "them and us" mindset into Muslim children at up to sixteen State schools. There was evidence of homophobia, a hard-line curriculum, demonization of other faiths, anti-Western and especially anti-Jewish attitudes and contempt for the Armed Forces. The response of the Muslim Council of Great Britain:  This is not as evidence of extremist views but simply as evidence of "conservative Muslim practices".

One Muslin scholar and star of the Islamic TV circuit who 'fitted the governments definition' of a non-violent extremist had this message for his followers: Our ultimate aim as Muslims is to have, to see Islam spreading all over the world and to see the word of Allah [...] dominant on the whole globe. To achieve this Muslims in the West are encouraged to "exploit the freedom of parliamentary democracies run by kuffars, or unbelievers, so that one day they can replace democracy with theocracy. He says "I know it is filthy...I know all the kuffar will go to hellfire. I know all the kuffar hate Muslims. I know all of these statements that many brothers are saying but in many cases you have to deal with it. OK?"

That is what Robert Spencer and others have been warning in 'What The West Needs To Know' but he along with other experts are regarded by the Home Secretary as the threat. This is no surprise to anybody who has taken the trouble to find out what is going on rather than accept whatever Muslims choose to tell them. As Dr  Peter Hammond put it in his book “Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat”:

 Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components. Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

Moving forward in time, but backwards in the cause of freedom of speech and expression, the perpetrators of the Charlie Hebdo massacre claimed that they 'had avenged the prophet'. Emulated may have been more accurate there being numerous examples of killings he ordered or supported but since then the propaganda machine has been running on maximum power defending 'peace living Muslims'. Some have condemned the murders as un-Islamic. No doubt many believe that. I heard two apologists refer to the way that their prophet had been spat upon but 'he did not react'. No reference was made to hundreds of killings he ordered or supported.

With so much dissimulation it is difficult to know what to believe but the evidence is there. As Dr Hammond points out, the response of Muslims depends on the relative strength of Islam in the country concerned. That ranges from outright oppression to playing the victim, a tactic used to great effect by the gay lobby and WATCH to gain control in the Anglican Church .

In Pakistan in 2010 two Christians were imprisoned for 25 years after being convicted for "touching the Qur'an without washing their hands". This is not an isolated incident. Check here, here or here or 'Google' under 'persecution of Christians' for numerous examples yet there is hardly a mention of the plight of non-Muslims in Islamic states where the killing of Christians and burning their churches is commonplace.

While events in the Middle East ensure media coverage, the Islamisation of Africa is rarely headline news despite the constant brutality. Perhaps because these events take place overseas there is a reluctance to accept the reality of the Islamic expansionism which is staring us in the face. Concerns about the lack of Primary School places have fueled a spate of dissembling for fear of offending Muslims who with their much higher birth rates along with immigration are largely responsible for the problem. The BBC published a story about it with only a passing reference to birth rates - "Official figures for 2013 show that more than a quarter of births (26.5%) in England and Wales were to women born outside the UK - that is 185,075 babies out of a total of 698,512 born that year", up form 17.7% in 2002.

Uncharacteristically, in their television coverage the BBC visited a school where the pupils were predominantly white. In earlier TV news bulletins one had to wonder if there were any white children at all in the areas the BBC visited. In 2011 the Mail published some figures which showed that One in four primary school pupils are from an ethnic minority, an increase of almost half a million since 1997, and  that almost a million schoolchildren did not speak English as their first language.

So farcical has the British education system become that we read headlines such as "Anglican school where 75% of the pupils are Muslim drops Christian hymns from assemblies". According to the Church of England website many church schools (both VC and VA, primary and secondary) have a high proportion of Muslim children, a substantial number have over 80 per cent intake from the Muslim community.

If the events of last week or so have taught us anything it should be that Islam cannot be trusted to live peacefully with other faiths. As Islam becomes more dominant in a particular area pressure for Muslim privileges increase. They can become furious if not getting special privileges. Cultural jihad is becoming as effective as armed jihad. It just takes longer. We are already experiencing the effect of unrestricted immigration and a higher birth rate. Muslim demands are increasing in line with predictions and most of us will be consumers of halal because of the absence of labelling. Anyone who questions the process is accused of Islamophobia. The media generally plays the same game while HM Government continues to bury its head in the sand.

Perpetually playing the victim our democratic processes are exploited to usurp the freedoms we enjoy in a process to spread Sharia law throughout the world. A study in 2009 showed that there were at least 85 "courts" operating across Britain and that "There are the dozens of informal tribunals run out of mosques or online". The majority of Muslims may appear peaceful but looking at Islamic states abroad the picture is different  - convert or pay the Jizya while apostates are executed.

Worldwide, halal is already forced on unsuspecting customers raising vast amounts of money as a tax through the halal certification industry, conservatively estimated at up to $20 to $30 million a year in Australia alone:

"The halal economy covers much more than food. The talk at major international fairs, such as the World Halal Forum held annually in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, is of a global halal "industry". Already worth an estimated US$3 trillion, it includes chemicals, health care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, leather products and Islamic banking. Islamic banking is based on the principle of profit and loss sharing and stems originally from a sharia prohibition on floating payments such as interest rates and fees. For example, instead of charging a property buyer interest on a loan, the bank buys the property and resells it with a profit margin to the buyer, who makes fixed payments for the purchase".

So much for the "Religion of Peace". It regards non-Muslims as inferior, demands lying (taqiyya) to protect it, converts people under threat of death, punishes by amputation, stoning and execution and assassinates apostates while its martyrs expect to go to paradise for their quota of virgins after murdering non-believers. Although many Christian leaders appear to have forgotten it we are warned about false prophets in the Bible but for those unaware that they cannot buy their way to heaven, they are confronted by "Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward". - All at our expense.

Is it surprising that we are not allowed to question it? When we do we are challenged with questions such as, have you read the Qu'ran? If the answer is yes, the next question is, but do you speak Arabic? If not, you are told that you cannot properly understand the text or that events are taken out of context. If all else fails we are charged with Islamophobia.

There was no misunderstanding when I heard one so-called expert tell his audience that a former Archbishop of Canterbury was in favour of Sharia, completely misrepresenting what Archbishop Rowan had said. So how much trust can we put in their condemnation of Islamic terrorist attacks, already approaching 25,000 and rising since 9/11?

The Religion of Fear is more appropriate.
