  1. Not forgetting the Church in Wales where traditional orthodox anglo Catholics are no longer welcome but labelled subversives, transphobic, homophobic, bigoted, unChristian haters.
Big hat tip to Rhydderch, TP, LG, untRuthy and every Bishop in Wales.
Then there's the same scuttlers in the Church of England.

CofE has established a "racial justice unit" with no less than 11 staff, the latest of which is supposed to "deconstruct whiteness" on a £36k salary.
What a load of utterly woke tosh.

Speaking of persecuted, one is disgusted to note that the Memorial service for JPR Williams on Friday at Llandaff Cathedral was blighted by the malign presence of Darth --Insidious, the Grand Mufti of all the Faiths, bully boy Bazza.
What a shame for all concerned.

  4. With reference to the damage done to the trucks and injuries to the drivers delivering Aid to Gaza, that's one of the many reasons the Egyptians want to keep them behind a wall and not let them out.

  6. Back to AB's subject matter of Christians persecution. Perhaps some of the blame can be laid at the feet of pip-squeak sub-deans as in Bangor where, at a stroke, all references to the shared Christian-Islamic and even Jewish prophets of the Old Testament have been blocked out of prayer services. There are no longer the readings of jointly understood and worshipped prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Ruth, Job, Solomon etc. At Bangor, scriptural readings and Lessons assume the start date to God's creation was the birth of Christ. This editing out of scriptures shared and common to Christian and Moslem scriptures presumably more to do with Sion ap-Rhys's rush to end the Holy Eucharist service in good time to open his post communion free wine-bar and to justify the tediously long chanting of his expensive and 35+ voice strong choir of the Psalms. The Prophets? No longer relevant to Christian worship apparently. That's something for the Jews and Moslems ... and what do they know about such things thinks ap-Rhys!!! I doubt if he's ever discussed these things with his opposite numbers at the Bangor Mosque or the local Rabbi. It's not surprising that the Moslem faith considers us to be second-rate. This arrogance simply expands the 'them-and-us' divide rather than promote the rich beliefs the two faiths have shared for centuries. Shame on him.

Not that Rhys isn't a disgusting little mincer but your theory is holed below the waterline, the Psalms are old Testament.

Agreed. Agreed. David, Solomon and four or five others penned the Psalms but as poems (later transposed as lyrics to peripatetic chants) of adulation or even 'love songs' to God; sort of Tim Rice or Lloyd Webbers of their day. I was suggesting rather the richer, deeper, scriptural matter contained in the 'Books'. Not much to ask I suppose.
