Time for reflection

    This is 'Praise the Lord' from Rachmaninoff's Vespers, or Music of the Night. One of the most wonderful and moving pieces of music from the choral repertoire, in my opinion - just listen to those 'basso profundo' - the sound makes my toes curl up.

    Thank you for posting this, on this historic day for the Church of England, whose synod has just voted 'no' to women bishops.
