"Can you hear me, mother?"



Other ancients will recall the catch phrase used by the late Sandy Powell, "Can you hear me, mother?" Now the call is to go out from the Church in Wales dioceses and  Provincial Strategy Group "to look again at ways of encouraging more applications from women for ordination to the ministry".


Whatever happened to being "called by God"?

    Father, to be honest I thought that you were slightly exagerating the situation in the CoW. However, I have just opened the documents about Women's ministry and all questions of the rights and wrongs of that ministry aside, I am astonished that there is no reference to God calling priests at all. It is absolutely, totally and utterly secular. Incredible!
