A sad day for the Church in Wales

Barry and his bench sitters have succeeded in turning the Church in Wales into a Protestant sect aided by a well aimed feminist amendment:

Archbishop Barry Morgan, said: “Thank you for the way in which the debate has been conducted and I hope you will trust us as Bishops to prepare a Code of Practice.”

The Code of Practice commits the Bench to making provisions such that all members of the Church in Wales including those who in conscience dissent from the provision of section 1 [women bishops] may have a sense of security in their accepted and valued place within the Church in Wales.

The end.

  1. RIP Church in Wales. It was good (well some of it perhaps wasn't) while it lasted.

  2. It's real decision time. Remain a protestant or seek a catholic future somewhere else. There cannot be any more lines to draw in the sand - it's high tide and high noon. How very sad that it ends like this but there is gospel life somewhere else and you should now go. With prayers for your future (and everybody else in the same boat)

  5. Do you know the story about the Anglican Bishop who was ordained as a priest in the Catholic Church. When asked why at his ordination he was lying prostrate on the floor the response was, 'well when I becomes a bishop my backbone was removed and now it is being replaced!'
