  1. Did anyone listen to the 'All Things Considered' interview with Andy John? I did not.

  2. Who on earth would want to Rob? I'd rather listen to the considerations of my pet goldfish, Ethel, than those of a newt.

  3. The lack of further comments from an otherwise energetically vocal AB contributor base suggests total disinterest in the 'considerations' or even thoughts of the failed theologian Andrew John. Perhaps broadcasters of such programmes might take notice that he is not of audience interest beyond yawning cure for insomnia.

    1. When was the chocolate teapot Randy Pandy ever a Theologian AC?

The reluctance of people to comment is, I think, a sign that those whose views dissent with the majority here are tired of being shouted down. I - and, I suspect, others - am happy to enage with those who disagree and may even learn from them, however I'm not willing to be "squashed" with cheap put-downs.

    4. I perceive not so much a reluctance to comment but more a sense of weariness and "what's the point anymore?".
The few remaining fragments of the Church in Wales are beyond redemption, the Bishops and Bishopettes continue as they please and, as everyone has discovered in the past few months, even when accused of bullying they don't even get suspended pending investigation.
Huge sums of money are squandered on fatuous politically correct vanity projects pandering to minorities (that for the most part want absolutely nothing to do with the Church anyway), the Capon is still in situ, the Organ appeal accounts are still unavailable, as are the Quinquennial reports and the cover ups continue.S

    5. Speaking of fatuous vanity projects, I see that the Llandaff Cathedral Festival is now described as Olivia's "bright idea"!

    6. Radical Randy Pandy peddles more heresy.

The Church in Wales will be dead in five years so it's as irrelevant as the chocolate teapot himself.

      Literally.

    8. I find myself in sympathy with Andy's brother Richard. ++Andy seems to be steering the Church in Wales as if he were steering between Jura and Scarba, straight into the Corryvreckan, and in his dinghy there is no escape

  4. It seems Gerwhine's time in Llandaff finally might well be drawing to a close.

Nice article by Martin Shipton again in today's Western Mail with the same story but additionally that "The Dean, who has been away from work for nearly two years on health grounds, did not respond to our request for a comment."

Hardly surprising since he's made himself look like a complete chump.

How strange that the nasty little bully should have withdrawn his complaints and then decided to clam up.
What are the Chapter going to do about the Aga now?
Caiaphas must be dancing a jig.

    1. The significance of the fact that --Bazza's golf caddie doesn't want to talk to Martin Shipton or play the game in the court of public opinion any more will not be lost on the general public.
Nick Mason, John Pockett et al, the Llanishen 17 and Vicky Burrows must be feeling completely foolish too.

The ears in the walls report that he has repeatedly turned down large sums of cash to vacate the Deanery (half a years salary is rumoured), preferring instead to take Caiaphas "all the way".

    4. One wonders who will be paying the legal costs of the Tribunal, QCs, barristers and solicitors that have resulted from the now plainly frivolous and unsustainable false allegations Capon made for effect as a means of deflecting the public gaze away from the scandal of the elephant dancing around in the Deanery kitchen?
One hopes any and all such costs are added to the monies Gerard Elias QC and the Chapter are seeking to recover.

Make no mistake, the nasty little bully hasn't vacated the Llandaff Deanery just yet but the clock is to be heard, ticking away gently.

    6. Having read the published judgement document, it is patently obvious the Capon's evidence was flimsy at best and his choice of witnesses dubious.
So now the question is how did he manage to get away with the Aga saga?
