Environment Agency drops ‘mother’ and ‘father’ from policies

Source: GOV UK

From Coalition for Marriage:

Dear marriage supporter,

The Environment Agency has removed the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ from its staff policies.

The quango said it has instead started using “primary carer” in its maternity, paternity and shared parental leave policies to make them ‘gender-neutral’.

The revelations come in the agency’s 2020 application to LGBT lobby group Stonewall to be included in its list of “top 100 employers”, recently seen by the Times (£).

The agency also said it had told workers they can request “more than one passcard... in order to be able to express different identities on different days”.

A staff survey was also said to have asked employees to confirm whether their gender identity matched the “gender I was assigned at birth”.

The public sector agency added that it brought these ideas to bear on procurement, stating that for all relevant contracts, “we ask potential suppliers to submit details of their EDI [equality, diversity and inclusion] policy as part of their submission”. It is a fair bet the agency will be looking for similar transgender-friendly policies from its contractors and suppliers as it has introduced internally. If so, it is using public funds as leverage to spread contentious gender ideology among private companies.

The latest revelations add to a picture of the crucial differences between men and women being erased as gender ideology spreads unchecked through public and private institutions. What kind of twisted ideology is it that sees mother and father as problematic concepts to be expunged?

Taxpayer-funded institutions like the Environment Agency should not be wasting public money on trying to erase basic facts about human biology or spreading nonsense about people changing sex, perhaps depending on the day of the week!

Much more needs to be done to stop this absurd ideology from doing any more harm than it already has. At C4M, we continue to fight against anything which undermines real marriage.

  1. Why is Stonewall receiving ANY tax payers money, much less £1.2 million?
Stonewall needs to lose its charitable status and be defunded immediately.

    1. On a brighter note, I see the absurd NHS rainbow 🌈 badge scheme has been cancelled due to a lack of funding.
Not before time and hurrah for some common sense.

    2. Enoch. Correct me if I am wrong, but I understand that the NHS 'rainbow' is nothing to with similar looking LGBT/Woke logo & philosopy?

    3. You're corrected.
      Re-read "NHS rainbow badge scheme".
In any case everyone knows Stonewall, Mermaids and the gay cabal have hijacked the rainbow in its entirety, so what's your point?

    4. Stonewall should be proscribed and banned altogether.
They're every bit as toxic as the worst snake.

    5. Enoch: Yes, you are (sadly) correct; I googled the 'NHS rainbow logo.' It does not refer to a sign of hope, restoring one back to health & healing, (as i thought.) How sad that such a mighty & public-loved institution as the NHS has to follow the LGBT & 'woke' nonsense. PS. Today in Tesco, buying my wife (a woman, if you should need to ask), I came across bunches of rainbow-coloured roses. What is next?

    6. TESCO sell wives now?
How many clubcard points did you collect?

  2. That the Dept of Environment, an 'agnostic' and necessarily 'inclusive' branch of Government de-sexes its literature is probably OK. But no excuses really for the pathetically weak Church-in-Wales which has sneaked in its own sop by re-writing the Creed:
'I believe and trust in his Son Jesus Christ who redeemed HUMANKIND', thus removing Mankind. Soon it will begin: "I believe in God the Carer ... I believe and trust in his/her/their Personage Jesus Christ". What pussy-footing nonsense.

  3. Quite correct Martin. Enoch didn't imply whatsoever that the NHS rainbow was in any way associated with LGBTQ+et al. But God does move in mysterious ways. He too was so aghast at the almost permanent fluttering of the enormous multi-coloured 'Gays' flag over Bangor cathedral - hoisted by demand of Chief-Dresser-Up ap-Rhys - that at the first big winter storm over Bangor, he blew in an extra gust and the entire flagpole with its bracings has been destroyed. It cost a fortune to recently erect and now twice as much to replace. One up to God !!!

  5. It's ironic that 'man' became non gender specific in our evolving language. There was Wiman (man) and Wifman (woman). Man, was then used for either (of the two) genders.

  6. @ merthyr organist.
And in Scotland of course, they have Aye-Wee-Man. Mankind, as in the Creed, was fully understood by all ... until some modernist changed it to Humankind. Does the Church actually pay someone to recomend these silly changes or is there perhaps a Special Conference or Ecclesiastical Comittee. When will the Isle of Man become the Isle of Humans?

    1. In answer to your question, Ad Clerum, there is a Standing Liturgical Advisory Committee, which reports to the Plank and the Governing Body. It is often joked about in some circles that the 'Committee' should have been 'Group'. I will leave you to work out that acronym!
