  2. The old fashioned 'standing behind the communion table' is not now to be used in my 'king'dom; please sit on it and chat; the table otherwise is a barrier.

  9. Those unspeakable and loyal Christians have tried every trick in the book to get rid of me. Now they have put me in a table top sale and STILL nobody wants me!

  10. Llandaff really needs a bishop with their feet firmly on the ground and one grounded in the ancient traditions of the Church - that's the only way to halt the decline!

  12. PP. Why am I on the naughty step, what did I do?

I wonder sometimes if things are that bad, and it's cause the 2 women Bishop's, 2 women deans 3 archdeacons and a host of women clergy in the province. . Surely the male fraternity of clergy down the recent decades and pure women priests have some responsibility in the decline. Unfortunately if women were to be suddenly removed then the Church would find itself in dire straits. The political mood music has now gone too far to silence. The bottom line being, sadly, put up, shut up or, ship out.

    1. If she gets a pair of red shoes she should stay away from tornadoes, Kansas and girls named Dorothy!

    2. Maybe, she should click them together and say, "There's no place like home..." and swiftly go there in a puff of smoke!

    3. She does have several friends of Dorothy amongst her clergy!

York? But Sentamu has announced that he's NOT retiring until he absolutely has to. Still, there's plenty of room for more elderly ladies in the hierarchy of the Church in Wales.

  21. The other one (the one who dislikes retired priests) has a video describing her vocation on the St Davids website. Frankly it seems far more like a calling to be a Christian than a priestly vocation.

    1. Joanna and the rest of the bench should reflect on how the peace she says 'descended on her and which has never really left her after she came to faith' was known to many cradle Anglicans before it was ripped from them to accommodate her take-it-or-leave-it brand of Anglicanism.

  24. When Mon goes female it will be level pegging on the bench. When St Asaph goes to York, Bangor to St Asaph and another women for Bangor. With A decade the Church will have a women AB. We live in a church that has tipped towards greater female leadership. Time is of the essences if change is to come, but pew sitters need to speak, lead and demand OXO.
