Major error: another shade of grey

Sir John Major, ex-Premier and holder of England's highest award for chivalry, The Most Noble Order of the Garter, is the latest has-been to be rolled out by the 'Remain' Campaign.

"Deceiving the public and verging on the squalid" sounds like an act of contrition for his four-year affair with former Conservative minister Edwina Currie when he was a whip in Mrs Thatcher's Government and she a backbencher.

Not a bit of it. He was attacking the Brexit campaign.

Pot calling the kettle black?

  1. Such a rare thing. A genuine abracadabra moment. The Tory party. Much like the Church in Wales at prayer.

  2. I think you have to be careful about balance. Have you attacked Boris Johnson for his many infidelities?

    1. Of course Joe. But then old Boris does tend to bring the whole shop to the window. Unlike rubber lips Major pretending to play the family values game. In this respect Boris would not be labelled by me a hypocrite such as goody goody gum gums Major.

  4. I wish you Pommie cousins all the best in the vote though our usual swill of politicians want UK to stay. We just ordered 12 subs from the Frogs to keep EU relations on track.

  5. Come come, dear Simple soul. Surely, we are not that daft as a nation as to have the lovable rouge Boris as PM? He may be an effective pain in the arse, but that all he is.

  6. And what about another 'flash flood' by Welby & Morgan on the news where a petulant looking Welby (House Commons) doesn't 'hesitate' in 'condemning' Farrage of UKIP, along with the ever slippery Arch Traitor of Wales, who, 'warns the public' (Church Times) against voting Brexit.

'Wont hesitate' and 'warnings'? One can sometimes become a hostage to hilarity.
