Our children are now being forced fed halal meat for school dinners. Hospital patients receive halal meat. These changes have been introduced in a totally under hand way. Considering the fact that the food industry is heavily regulated with all sorts of labelling regulations, where is the symbol for halal meet? This case should be referred to the European Union for urgent investigation. In the mean time, I would urge everyone to ask if the meat they purchase is cruel slaughtered (halal). If the butcher/supermarket cannot answer that question, then do not buy it.Magisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13050343896874535902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4019954714374602353.post-17065634879644164482010-10-02T22:06:28.116+01:002010-10-02T22:06:28.116+01:00You failed to mention that New Zealand passed a la...You failed to mention that New Zealand passed a law that outlawed Orthodox Jews from kashering (making Kosher) clean animal meats as being inhumane. If they are allowing Muslims to practice Halal slaughtering of clean animals that is a double standard. This kind of thing has to stop and I don't mean the animal killing methods I mean the meddling in the religious ritual practices of any religion.Matthew Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07564546155986482730noreply@blogger.com
